Will not tell you how fast you can push a medication.

Favorite thing about this book is its perfect pocket size (smaller than your hand). It is a good source (not excellent) for clinicals where apps/cell phones are not allowed; although it's understandable that Davis-grade info can't be packed into the pocket for 1500 meds. However, the main reason I purchased was to reference push rates, so if you're looking for that you will need a seperate source.

Perfect little guide

This book is a lifesaver! I am currently going through pharmacology in Nursing school right now and everything I need to know about medication is in this awesome little guide. It is small and fits into scrub pockets. The writing is small so if you have bad eyes maybe it is not for you, but I know that it has helped me understand many of the drugs we are going over in class. It narrows a lot of information down to the necessities. For example, it will give the generic name, trade name, pregnancy category, controlled substance schedule, available doses, indication, teaching, etc. Just a great little guide to keep on you while you go through clinical. I would definitely take this with me in the nurse setting when I graduate.
