Great Encouragment!

What my wife and I appreciate in reading this book together is that you get to hear about facing fears in this business from both Stephen and Rebecca. We were ecouraged to let go the myths about paying for so many services to run this business. Our time is super tight with six homeschoolers and after reading this book and the SUPER helpful suggestions we are going full steam ahead in our FBA business pursuit!

Good book for the FBA beginner!

This is a nice little book for someone who is dabbling in FBA or considering selling FBA but has some general questions or concerns. It offers some pretty good basic information such as using CamelCamelCamel for researching item history as well as some guidelines to help someone entering the FBA market to consider.
As I have about a year of experience in selling on the Amazon FBA (and seller fulfilled as well) I personally didn't take much information away from the book that I didn't already have. My personal opinion is it is very easy to say offer excellent customer service, and we do, but some of the Amazon customers just know how to play the game to get free things. Sorry, but that is the absolute truth. Are they the minority, sure, but they still eat into your profits when they return products that they damaged maliciously for a full refund. Yes, that is an extreme, but I have seen it. Again, this is the rare exception, but you do need to be aware of this aspect of the business. As long as you do right and provide good quality customer service and try to resolve your customer issues, you should be set. But just be aware you are going to lose some money as there are bad buyers and they do get more coddling than they probably should. Now, also to be fair, Amazon does take steps to weed out the abusers. I know that as a fact too, but it does take time and unfortunately sellers do lose some money while they vet out a potential customer who is abusing the system.
All that said, and back to the book, I do think this is a great book for beginners to help understand the very basic information about selling on Amazon FBA. My biggest recommendation to anyone looking to do so, is to just do you research, and make absolutely certain that you understand all the fees that you have to pay because many sellers don't calculate properly and end up losing money and not realizing the fees that are required.
Bottom line this is a good basic book for the FBA beginner. I also recommend looking at Amazon seller forums for lots and lots more information. The more knowledgeable you are, the smoother the transition will be for you. I can tell you that the business that I am running has really grown our FBA business in the past year and now we have about 50% of our inventory in FBA and our sales have significantly increased by really learning how to focus on supplementing our sales by offering FBA. I did receive this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
